Frequently Asked Questions Question: How much does it cost to rent a Margarita Machine from The Margarita Man of Baltimore-Annapolis? Answer: Our prices vary throughout the year based upon availability and seasonal demand. Our average price is $170, which includes one (1) free mix and FREE local delivery and pick-up (there may be an additional delivery charge for out of area deliveries). Also included are 100-8 oz. Cups, margarita salt rimmer, a 5-gallon pre-measured mixing bucket, cart, stirring spoon and a heavy-duty extension cord. We ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit, using cash or a major credit card (mc/visa/discover and Amex), when you reserve your machine. The balance will be payable when we pick up the machine after your party. Question: Are the machines easy to run? Answer: Very Easy. We show you how to make the drink mix and run the machine. We also leave you printed instructions. NO ICE IS NEEDED!!! Question: How long does it take for the first batch to freeze? Answer: The first batch takes up to 1-hour if the machine is indoors. If the machine is located outside in the heat, it can take up to two hours. Question: How many drinks will each batch yield? Answer: One batch of lime or lemon margaritas provides approximately 75-eight-ounce drinks. All other flavors will yield approximately 65-eight-ounce drinks. Question: Who provides the liquor and how much is needed per batch? Answer: The customer provides all the liquor. A normal batch calls for three liters of tequila (or rum, depending upon your taste and flavor) or 1 and one half 1.75 liter bottles. A half-liter of triple sec is optional. Question: Do you have to use Alcohol for these drinks? Answer: Absolutely not. These beverages are delicious with or without alcohol. We have many clients that rent our machines for High School Graduations, birthday parties and other special events for those under 21 or who simply choose not to use alcohol. Question: What other flavors are available? Answer: We proudly offer 12 delicious flavors. Lime or lemon margaritas, Strawberry (daiquiris or margaritas), Rum Runners, Goombay Smash (rum punch), Hurricanes, Go Mango Ritas, Go Bananas Daiquiris, Peach Bellinis, Razzmatazzberry, Pina Coladas, and Tropical Punch. Note, these make great non-alcoholic fruit slushies! Question: How far in advance should I reserve my machine? Answer: We recommend two weeks prior to your event. Please keep in mind that holidays will be busier times for us. The sooner the better, is a good rule to apply here. |
